Welcome to the The TC Foundation's website

Founded in 1975, the TC Foundation (formerly the Textile Conservation Foundation) supports textile conservation education and research through the Kelvin Centre for Conservation and Cultural Heritage Research, part of the University of Glasgow.  Between 1975 to 2009 the TC Foundation supported the Centre’s predecessor, the Textile Conservation Centre before moving to become part of the University of Glasgow in 2010.

This site tells you about our work today and about the history of the TC Foundation and the Centres.  You can find out about the lasting benefit of the TC Foundation’s support for students and can also find out about the generous funders who make our work possible.
